One of my service technicians left his toolbox onsite at a job he attended yesterday. When he returned to pick it up, the police were there. Some nut onsite who was fully programmed with current hystria about "terrorism" saw a foreign object in the kitchen ( a toolbox) and thought "bomb". Now thats what I call programming! Lol.

My opinions and judgements on matters arent susceptible to current popular hysteria and social programming.
If a mother can believe her son, a former murderer, can be reformed and has left his former course behind, then why cant a son believe his fathers brother ( an uncle he may well be very fond of) has remodelled himself ? Of course its concievable that he might believe that.
By what criteria can some one state "Paedophiles are iredeemable" or "Paedophlies should have it amputated", as persons have done in this thread, yet that person may well be opposed to the death penalty for murder? Paedophiles, like "terrorists" are just a currently popular "internal enemy" , a class for society to focus its hate upon.A "goldstein". An "issue" for society to focus upon.
And you are all swallowing the spiel as fast as its fed to you.You are perfect members of society. Believing the party line with all the violence of belief ,emotional commitment and righteous justification, that they could ever wish of you.

Robert Jay Lifton has written a number of books on the Cult of Mao, the cult of Hitler, and the cult of Aum Supreme Truth that deal extensively with the thought rationalization processes taking place withihn members of the respective cults. These are based on first hand interviews.

The best way to get a handle on what cults believe is to obtain their own information and associate with them . Its easy to get Mormon material as long as you tell them your getting a "spirit leading" to read a certain book, such as "dotrine and covenants" or " A marvellous work". Reading a Mormon book like "A marvellous work" gives you a thorough grounding in all their beliefs that are peculiar to them. Then you read the works of the Tanners (apostates) such as " The changing world of Mormonism" or John Brookes "Refiners Fire" and youve got a good basis from which to deal with them.
The same applies to the other major groups, "Word" bookstores are full of books dealing with the beliefs and practises of Pentecostalism and all its offshoots. "Spiritual warfare" is pretty interesting stuff, doing exorcisms and searching the sprit for sins of former generations that have put a generational curse upon the descendants.
Provided you make the right noises, I found Racist groups easy to access as well. Theres the Christian Identity movement bookstore based in Cardwell in Queensland. Link into something like that and pretty soon they will be sending you their magazine which is full of links to people you can contact who hold similar beliefs ( As long as you dont mind the ASIO security office coming knocking on your door) The best racist books I ever read were by Charles Wiesman, "Origin of race" and "Who is Esau / Edom". A thorough grounding in Biblical racism. To get the other side you read Michael Barkuns "Religion and the racist right" and youve got a balanced view again.
Looking in the resources list of cult books leads to greater sources of information. A lot of books, the best part of them is the sources index.
If you want to access new age or UFO nuts there are lots of magazines in the Newsagent or at the local crystal / mediation shop. Also there are a lot of conspiracy magazines such as "nexus" . The mags are full of Ads for nutty groups. Once you get into the milieu and ring a few people, one place leads to another.

Upon a re read I notice that the perp has (allegedly) struck again. Thats a different matter. But I still hold my view about the nephew. The bonds of kinship are strong, he might have genuinely felt his uncle was redeemed and given the man the benefit of the doubt..

Well on the surface of it, I dont see why Dodson should comment, hes already been convicted and punished. Hes done his time. As to the father, maybe he talked with the man and feels hes reformed. I dont see why the father should necessarily stand trial as a criminal.
Unless of course there are facts I dont know. That could change my perspective.

Well they are saving lives. How are they doing this? Well they are saving lives for the new world wherin life will be eternal. Thats how theyre saving lives. But then, everyone theyve converted died without exception. So their life wasnt saved. It wasnt even saved in Gods memory for the new world because everyone except Hitler will get a resurrection anyway.

I guess there are a lot of things that we all do that go forgotten. Ive probly spoken with half a dozen active dubs in the past year and put some words into their ears , a couple of them were outright needing to talk to someone. So, yeah theres work goes on behind the scenes. Sister Prisca, over the course of years has been a tireless organizer of get togethers, and shes putting a bash together at her place thru the "JW Meetup" thingy at the moment. Not to blow trumpets of self praise or anything, but the only two posters I know in Melbourne both are doing something to aid the cause. So,based on that, I imagine everyone here does their bit in their own way.
ok... i have to admit that i have been obsessing over the movies the matrix... especially after the second one where some odd things happened.
agent smith was replicating in the matrix, neo was "feeling" and stopping the sentinels in the real world, agent smith copied himself into a human in zion.. now i normally don't obsess over movies... i usually just watch them once and then move on... no big deal.
but this time i have been trying to figure out all of the odd things about the matrix.. i wanted to throw my theories out for everyone to examine and see what you all think.... here goes... remember in the first movie when neo went to see the oracle?
Well i was very disappointed that we didnt see more of agent smith in number 2. Ive seen the film 3 times but i failed to notice that Bane was a replication of Smith. If that is so,and Smith can now replicate within Zion, its an interesting angle for the third installment.My take on the oracle was that she was a baddy, leading Neo into fullfilling the architects plan, rather than a goodie.
Of course, I hold that we do live inside a "matrix" ( to coin a term) controlled by spirit forces (aliens if you will)and that the Matrix movie concepts are part of the wakeup of humanity to the reality of the mind control exercized over them,and the invisible forces who exercize it.
